This Louis Vuitton Sac Souple from the 1980's is a beautiful vintage piece that has stood the test of time. Considering its age, the bag is in very good condition. The iconic monogram canvas is practically flawless, maintaining its structure and pattern.
The natural vachetta leather is also well-preserved, showing the characteristic patina that develops over time, along with some light signs of use such as spots and creasing. The gold-tone hardware is still in decent condition, with some discoloration. One of the zippers features a Louis Vuitton padlock; the original key has unfortunately been lost. This does not affect the functionality of the bag. The lock can easily be removed or a replacement key can be obtained from Louis Vuitton.
Inside, the bag is clean and in excellent condition. Designed as a soft-sided travel bag, the Sac Souple is perfect for weekends away or as a stylish carry-on. Its slightly longer handles, compared to the Louis Vuitton Keepall, make it easy to wear over the shoulder, enhancing its practicality. A luggage tag is included with the bag. While it may be of more recent age, it is nonetheless an authentic Louis Vuitton piece.
