Terms and conditions
By placing an order at Laveau Luxury you agree with the terms and conditions stated below.
Article 1: Definitions
- Owner / Seller: Laveau Luxury established in Zwolle, trading under Chamber of Commerce number 98051016.
- Consumer / Customer: Any natural person not acting in the course of a business or profession who enters into a distance contract with the Seller.
- Products: Vintage designer handbags and accessories offered for sale by the Seller.
- Agreement: A distance contract between the Customer and the Seller concluded via the online store.
- Cooling-off period: The 14-day period during which the Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal.

3. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to every offer from the Seller and to every Agreement concluded between the Seller and the Customer through the webshop.
4. The offer
The products offered are vintage items. Signs of wear or use may be expected. The Seller makes every effort to describe and photograph products accurately. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind the Seller.
Prices are listed in euros (EUR) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout.
5. The agreement
The Agreement is concluded at the moment the Customer accepts the offer and meets the conditions set out therein. The Seller confirms the order by e-mail. Until this confirmation is received, the Customer may cancel the order.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse orders if there are reasonable grounds (e.g., suspicion of fraud, incomplete information, non-payment history).
6. Right of returns
The Customer has the right to withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days after receiving the product, without stating reasons. During this period, the Customer shall handle the product and packaging with care.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify the Seller via e-mail: info@laveauluxury.com.
The Customer must return the product within 14 days of notifying the Seller. Return shipping costs are at the Customer’s expense, unless otherwise agreed.
Any complimentary items that came with the order (such as the free gift bag and included accessories) must also be returned. Returns can only be processed when all items from the original order are received.
The Seller will refund the purchase price (excluding original shipping costs, unless required by law) within 14 days of receiving the returned product, provided it is returned in the same condition as delivered.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products that have been used beyond what is necessary to assess their nature and characteristics.
- Items that have been altered, customized, or damaged after delivery.
7. Price and payment
All prices are subject to printing and typographical errors. Payments must be made in advance through the payment methods offered in the webshop. If payment is not received, the Seller is not obliged to ship the product.
8. Delivery
The Seller will handle orders with care and will ship as soon as possible after the order is confirmed and paid. We will always do our best to ship your new treasure within 48 hours, unless stated otherwise. Delivery takes place to the address provided by the Customer. The Seller can not be hold responsible for delays in delivery caused by couriers. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer once the product has been delivered to the address provided.
9. Comformity and authenticity
The Seller guarantees that the products comply with the Agreement and the specifications stated in the offer.
All items are authentic designer goods, authenticated by third party experts and/or to the best of the Seller’s knowledge and expertise.
10. Defects and complaints
All items are carefully inspected before shipping. If the product has any faults upon arrival, that were not mentioned in the information on the productpage or otherwise came to the information of The Customer, The Customer must inform The Seller of this within 48 hours. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.

The Seller will respond to complaints within 14 days with a substantive answer or an indication of when a resolution can be expected.
11. Warranty
The Seller does not give any warranty on the items sold. It is The Customer's responsibility to make sure to check the condition of the item before purchasing. All the information about the item will be made available on the productpage.
It's important to understand that all items sold are vintage and pre-loved designer items. Signs of wear are often inevitable.
12. Disputed and Governing law
Agreements between the Seller and the Customer are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
